Job summary
This position is responsible for advancing the digitization, governance, and analytical capability of Human Resources. This role serves as the subject matter expert for HR systems and workforce data, leveraging technology and analytics to modernize HR processes, strengthen decision-making, and enhance the employee experience. The position bridges hands-on system optimization with strategic insights derived from workforce and total rewards data.

How you will make a difference
  • Lead the implementation, optimization, and ongoing governance of integrated HR systems and digital tools. Act as the HR systems subject matter expert, overseeing system configuration, documentation, data migration, testing, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.
  • Partner with vendors and internal stakeholders to adopt system enhancements and technology-enabled process improvements.
  • Develop workflows, templates, and standardized digital processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and user experience.
  • Oversee HR data integrity and information flow across systems, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and reliability.
  • Leads the design and maintenance of HR dashboards and reporting to track key workforce metrics and analyzes internal and external data, including market and total rewards surveys, to identify trends, risks, and opportunities that inform decision-making and optimize HR processes and technology-enabled solutions.
  • Provide regular and ad hoc data-driven insights to leadership to support strategic workforce and organizational decisions.
  • Oversee benefits data, utilization analysis, and vendor reporting to assess program effectiveness and alignment with organizational priorities.
  • Provides backup support for the administration of compensation, benefits, incentive, and payroll programs, including payroll and RRSP processing, benefits plan administration, coordinating enrollments and reimbursements, and supporting the management of third-party relationships, while ensuring all activities align with organizational policies and procedures.
  • Providing ad hoc support on cross functional projects and initiatives upon request.

Requirements that are important to us
  • University degree in Human Resource Management, or a related field
  • Four to five years of relevant experience
  • Advanced experience with HRIS and integrated HR data systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead HR modernization through digital and data-enabled solutions.
  • Strong workforce analytics and reporting expertise, including dashboard development.
  • Sound understanding of HR data governance, privacy, and compliance requirements.
The OMA has moved to a permanent hybrid work environment. As such, the individual in this position will be required to work a minimum number of days in our Toronto office.
